My story
I’m a parent who reads the reviews so you don’t have to.
When my first baby arrived, people gave us a mountain of toys. Most were loud, a few were broken within a week, and one had a small part I found in my son’s mouth. After that, I started reading the labels, the age ranges and the one-star reviews before anything came into the house.
Two kids later, I still do. OurToys is my shortlist. Each guide covers one kind of play, with seven toys I would give a friend’s child. I say who each toy suits and when it’s too young or too old, and I flag the small parts. Every product links to a live Amazon US listing, and the card shows Amazon’s current price. I never write one in.
Fewer toys, better toys, played with longer.
